Courses: AP US History, AP Gov

Since moving to California from Boston in 2014, Mrs. Berg has taught AP US History at Santa Margarita Catholic High School and Sage Hill school, where she currently teaches both History and English. She has been a reader for the APUSH exam for the past 6 years, having the opportunity to grade all portions of the exam. This past year, 97% of Mrs. Berg’s students earned a score 4 or a 5, with nearly 70% earning a 5. Mrs. Berg also has experience teaching and/or tutoring AP Government and Politics, AP European History, AP World History, and English. She loves teaching and tutoring teenagers and has an academic teaching philosophy she describes as “high challenge, high support.” She is also the extremely proud mama of three small children: Hope, Boston, and Asher.
