I have grown and learned significantly at Chadwick Prep. I will never forget this experience and would live through it all over again if I could. Never at school would I have learned to write as concisely and as intelligently for AP US History as I have at Chadwick prep, nor would I have learned as useful strategies and skills from an ACT prep book as I have from Mr.Chadwick. I would have never been able to craft artistic and evocative college essays without the help of Professor Hawk. Mr.Chadwick’s classes are extremely engaging and interesting. Classes are 2-3 hours, but I always wish to stay longer in order to learn more. In addition, Mr.Chadwick exhorts us to recognize our achievements and improvement, promoting positivity, kindness, and a love for learning to his students. Both Mr. Chadwick and Professor Hawk are wonderful teachers and human beings, and a substantial number of my successes in high school would not have been possible without them. I would recommend this excellent academy to any student.

I started with Chadwick prep simply because I wanted some additional assistance in earning an excellent grade and AP score in my A.P. United States History class, but I soon realized how taking classes every week strengthened my study habits and reinforced a positive writing voice. Learning about American history with Chadwick helped me develop critical thinking skills, so much so that I wanted to continue working with him to craft and polish my college essays the summer before my senior year. While all my friends struggled with the stress of college applications during the year, I had already finished mine by staying on a steady schedule, meeting Chadwick to gain invaluable advice on how to best reflect my personality and accomplishments to admissions officers. Hi Mr. Chadwick, As we move closer to the exam, I just wanted to say thank you to you for preparing us so well! I enhanced my vocabulary and learned many strategies to write clearer sentences. I also consolidated my historical knowledge. My favorite part of your class is that you always explain the logic behind things. For example, you emphasized the importance of using active voice in the structure of "who did what", because that allows us to show our knowledge of history and earn points. Another example is that you point out over speculation as the underlying cause for almost all economic recessions/depressions. I am extremely proud of my improvements throughout the year. It's a pleasure to have you as my teacher!
